canucks not going to add more cap + a player that is signed into the year where pettersson needs new deal

They clear Pearson and Dicks cap, taking on more cap this year wt Hornqvist but then he becomes UFA the year after. They gain around 7 mill in cap space for when Petey needs to re sign and they also get a decent 3C which they need.

This also could allow them to sign Miller and Horvat. and Myers deal will be up when Petey needs to re sign so they will be good for that

Canucks are giving up the better player and still not shedding any cap. Doesn’t seem like good asset management
