He's no longer a Top 12 player in this lineup.

With the slim amount of Cap space the Rangers have, his Cap hit as a 13F looms large.

Don't need to resign Motte. The way Trivigno and Cuylle have looked, I would rather just save the money and give them a shot.

Extra $1.5M gives flexibility to move players such as Lundkvist, Jones, Trivigno, Cuylle, Brodzinksi or Rydahl freely to Hartford or back.

Im rooting for Krav as much as the next guy but he has not performed at any level... he can not play 1st line RW on a cup contender team.

You're probably right. Just trying to balance the lines out.

Kreider and Zibenejad already have great chemistry. Figured throwing in someone like Kravtsov to learn off them could only help.

Kakko or Lafreniere would be better options, but are already more established. Pairing both with Chytil (where they all excelled in the Playoffs) would help establish the 3rd line.

Panarin and Trocheck are already expected to click. Putting a physical presence like Blais with them to complement the line adds another dimension.

Kravtsov not the best 1RW option. Just looking for line balance.
