Only way id ever see the value going like that is because Marner has 2 more years on his deal. But at the same time TOR would never make that deal either unless it was a sign and trade considering Tkachuk contract. Guys a b2b all star winger on a line with Matthews and occasionally Tavares and still has never broken 100 points.

97pts in 72 games last year and then 67 in 55 games (100pts pace) in the COVID season. That's the same bs argument as people prior to this season saying Matty couldn't score 100 pts either.
