Description
Dobbys contract needs to be moved so I thought he would go to the ducks because they need to hit the floor, but I'm not sure if that quite gets it done. if that doesn't work I dunno what else would make it work, maybe a third and a fifth? I think Kivi also needs to go just because there's no room for him in the lineup and there are too many guys that need to get games. Maybe he goes in the Anaheim deal?

Robo and Otter need deals, I don't know if either take 8 years but neither player will be cheap anyways. I think Robo takes anywhere from 7 to 8, and Otter takes 4 to 6 IMO. As far as term goes, anyone's guess is as good as mine at this point.

I don't think any top prospects take a roster spot and keep it, I think Bourque and Stranges will spend most of the year with Texas, and Stanky and Wyatt probably play the 9 games then go back to junior.

This was just something I think could happen but I dunno, I'm dumb so i guess we shall just see. Delly should be in the lineup, maybe Damiani comes up and plays more, Tufte should probably play and maybe swap games with Studo just to see what you have with him.

god that Suter contract sucks so bad. thoughts?

I think a 4th is about the right price to cap dump Dobby. He only has this upcoming season remaining on his contract, and sending him down to the AHL reduces his cap hit closer to $2.2M. Not a huge inconvenience for the teams looking to take a cap dump in exchange for draft picks.

I agree. I still think it would take another late round pick along with the fourth just because it is a cap dump. But if so, I don't really care honestly, as long as its not too expensive. Love dobby but that deals gotta go.

You can’t have 24 players on your roster 😀

Dumping Dobby is the right move if it’s the cost to sign our pending RFA.

My guess is that Nill is working like crazy to avoid that. He proved just last year how much he loves to have depth at the goaltending position.

And yes, that Suter’s contract sucked the second it was signed last year.

I honestly totally forgot about the roster limit i’m silly haha. in that case id probably send down damiani and probably kivi.
I know there’s a lot of talk about moving faksa and his deal but he at least plays games and *can* contribute, so id want to move dobby first but yes, nill does not like to move goalies and we all know he just LOVES his guys. all likelihood hes banking on getting RFAs to take a discount bridge deal and dobby staying in texas. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
