Description

The player arbitration window just passed which means Kapanen can’t file for arb anymore so the pens may be able to convince him to take a 1 year prove it deal.

Milano is a great player but because there he hasn’t signed yet he obviously isn’t getting the offers he expected. Maybe he realizes Pittsburgh he could play with some great players, a couple of former teammates (pettersson rakell), get some money guaranteed in the bank, then when this deal expires he is 28 and could potentially sign a big ticket. Could be a way to set him up for his next deal.

If Hextall can pull this off it would be really impressive negotiation skills

That’s a 1 1/2 line team with a deeper (but not better) blue line. Honestly we will definitely have a problem with this team.
