I fear you may have a point. They are a forward away it feels (assuming good years from Murray and Samsonov).

I've never seen a teams fans freakout so much over having a solid team. This team screams 2009 Red Wings 2 very solid lines with 3rd line potential and classic D

I’d say the D is plus with a recent Norris winner on the third pair. 2 of top 8 forwards in the game, and 2 in the next 10-15. A forward away from a top 3 team (assuming goalies play ok).
