That's an overpay for Dubois and a serious underpay for Barrie. You might get both players for the same assets, but I think you'd have to distribute them differently. I also think Hoffman won't get you far. You'd be better off dangling Gallagher.

Barrie has more value and Edmonton needs picks. Give the 4th from the Pens and the Habs 3rd in 2024.

PLD value is going in the toilet. If Chevy stands pat, I doubt PLD even shows up at camp. The Habs should never think of giving a 1st for the guy. They need to rebuild not start a reality show starring Pierre Luc Douchebag

Hoff might still interest a few teams, but he's not got much for value. I also can't see anyone taking Gally, love the guy but not worth his paycheck at the term he has left.

Sadly, you're sort of right about Gallagher. If he had two years left on that horrid contract, the Habs would be chasing off suitors. His value as a #1 RW is much diminished, but he is still a huge asset in the middle 6 and, more important to a competitive team, in the dressing room. He's a first-rate leader. Sadly, he has a lifetime left on the deal and would only be valuable to younger teams with a legit shot.
