Canucks don't have a weak blueline, it's mediocre at worst. Demko does help their metrics somewhat, but he doesn't drastically pad the stats of the defense
People have to stop underestimating how good Myers and Schenn were this past season. OEL isn't a dead weight contract either. A 3rd pair consisting of two of Rathbone/Dermott/Poolman is also a very solid 3rd pairing
