How far did you get last year? Not much better than that IMO. Because you still have Duchene and Glass after that offer

Adding Tkachuk by subtracting Duchene doesn't improve this team. It takes it right back where it was last year. Maybe with improved defense and a healthy Saros it's a 4-2 1st round loss instead of a sweep. The only way to get Tkachuk at this point is moving at least 1 of Ekholm or Granlund with a couple prospects and a 1st.

You've also wasted $2M in cap space with Lucic being included and buried.
