1. Tanev at best gets a late 1st alone not a first and a high prospect. More likely a pair of picks in 2nd to 3rd area.
2. Tkachuk is not netting 2 prime prospects a 1st 2nds and 2 young NHLers (mitts is not nothing, and joki is a young RHD which is also not nothing)

3. I can't wait til he is traded to the blues for 2 1sts and a weak prospect and this is all over.

Tanev is pretty elite defensively so he will net a good prospect and a 1st

The basic requirement for tkachuk is a good young player, a high end prospect and a 1st

Tanev also has quite the injury history. He isn't getting what you think.

I know Tkachuk asking price but with him already saying he will only sign long term for a couple teams nobody is breaking the bank for that.

And sure I can say mitts doesn't have a ton of value due to his injury history. But joki has been a top 4 RHD who is 21 Years old, I don't know in what world that makes him a bust.
