STL isn't trading Thomas. They just extended him, and Thomas is best friends with Tkachuk. Won't trade Thomas to get his friend.

I can't see Krug waiving his ntc for Calgary.

I think St Louis will have a difficult time making a tkachuk trade because all of their guys with salary (except for O'Reilly) have NTC. Only way I can see it working is if they move Taresenko in a seperate deal to create the space.

Could be possible with Tarasenko. I wouldn't be surprised if the Blues pulled something similar on Krug that Tampa did with McDonagh. Either waive or we waive you. And for Krug, the left is clogged, so they'll take away minutes.
