Description

This scenario is based on the Red Wings being a fringe playoff contender as the trade deadline rolls around. Rather than making a big or expensive acquisition for a playoff push, we prepare for the offseason and let some young guys who have made a push in the system come up and get some action.

Obviously all of these trades won’t happen but, all of them are pending UFA’s and should have some value for playoff needy teams at the deadline.

This is also assuming Fabbri will still be out.
