the depth is really going to be tested if the cap doesn't go up more soon

i think the solution might be to trade girard for futures and pick up 2-3 guys in free agency. not going to be an easy task.

I agree, but either way it's gonna be important for at least one of Ranta/Olausson/Foudy to hit and be NHL ready to be an effective bottom 6 player

kovalenko too. he's already been playing against men in the khl.
