I think this is the plan if no cap relief is found in a very tough trade market. Kinda boring but guess we could look forward to who’s available on waivers as we got first claim

Sending Byron saves the Habs 1.125m in cap. You've replaced him with 1.1m Pitlick. So by sending Byron to the AHL, cap savings....25,000 dollars.

Yeah. I don't see how Habs could trade him even with 50% retain. He's too injury and now on AHL level like Perreault last year. It's gonna be his last season for sure. Great leader, but again too injuries.
