Swap Colton and Hagel.

I don't think so Colton has shown the shoot first mentality wanted for a guy on Kucherov line.
Maybe Hagel and Vladdy.

Colton and Paul will most likely be conjoined at the hip this season based on playoff success until we see Coopers blender come out. i think Vladdy could move up to line 1, hagel to line 2, and then Colton with Paul and whoever.

You are absolutely crazy vladdy couldn't break into the Rangers ,Stars, Dead things top 6 what on earth other than nostalgia.
( that's really dumb reasoning if that's it) would make you think it's a good idea to do that?

never said it was a good idea.... im saying Coop is gonna do Coop things and put Vladdy with Stamkos and Kuch to see if they can rekindle the magic before Vladdy got shipped for JT Miller and McDonagh. Even then, its not like Vladdy is bad. he had 25 points in 60 games with a bad Detroit team who was 25th in goals for last year and 30th in goals allowed. He was on a line with Adam Erne and Michael Rasmussen for 27% (261:50) of the time. Erne had 19 points in 79 games and Rasmussen had 27 points in 80 games. the only other line he played with that had more than 45 minutes of ice time together was Larkin and Raymond where that line had the same amount of goals for (8) and against (9) while producing more shots, and allowing less all while having a 7% increase in Corsi. Where if you look at his 2017 season. he was with Stamkos and Kucherov for 45% of his TOI that season. Regardless of his skill level. Coop plays his favorites and wont hesitate to go with what has worked. "If it's not broken... Don't fix it" Its literally inevitable that Vladdy will be with Stamkos and Kuch, its just a matter of when

I disagree he's not nostalgic he broke the triplets up after a great season together. He broke up Point and Kucherov after have 2 playoffs that rivaled Gretzky/kurti or Lemieux/jagr he's not a guy that goes "to the past for the future. Then why were the triplet never reunited they won a Calder under Ccop as a line brought TB to a Final as a line then got thrown in the trash .

they broke up the triplets because Kuch and Palat were playing miles better than TJ and he finally got demoted to 4th line duties and ended up being a cap dump while Kuch and Palat were playing top line minutes with Kuch being over a point per game. he only broke up Point and Kuch because one of them was either hurt or he needed to split them up because he brought the blender out. Its bad when a ton of Tampa fans bash Coop for having favorites and wont bench veteran players for mistakes. Cooper and co are probably one of the worst at managing a game. When's the last time you saw Coop bench a veteran for making a mistake compared to a younger guy.

Palat didn't play with kuchmuch 16 17 18. 15/16Tj didn't drop off . Bringing it back to now vladdy has put meh to awful numbers since leaving TB .will he see a shift due too injuries and penalty and that yeah probably, however is he going to see serious time with Stammer and Kuch NO!! 1 I think Point and Kucherov wind up back together, and Colton is Palats replacement high energy guy who scored 22 and likes to shoot first. For example like he said after the cW goal in game 2 against Florida I knew Kuch would get me the puck I just needed to get my stick down and ready to shoot. Hey could score 30-35 on that line.

Again... Vladdy was on a terrible detroit team for 1 1/2 years and Dallas for 15 games. a bad Ottawa team for 54 games, and went to Colorado for 9 games and had 6 points there. Hes not gonna be a permanent fixture on the top line if he does end up there. but with the chemistry he already has with Kuch and Stamkos, Coop will see if it will click. Just like every training camp, he will try everyone with different linemates to see what sticks, but dont be surprised if Vladdy is on the first line to start the season with Kuch and Stamkos or even Point for that matter. Its a toss up and regardless of where he starts, it wont last unless Coop is brain dead and really just wants to force Vladdy into the top 6 (which is awful)

The chemistry from the past NOSTALGIA he has 54 goals and 59 assists 103 points in 290 games a 32 point per 82 game pace since he left NOTHING ABOUT THAT SAYS TOP 6!!!!!!!! He didn't have chemistry with them he was carried by them !!!!!???. 290 games isn't a small sample size it is what you are. I've seen people crucify players on here with a MUCH MUCH smaller sample size. By comparison when TJ got taken off Kucherov line starting 15/16the next 296 games similar enough sample size TJ had 83 goals 107 assists for 190 points or a 53
3 point per 82 game pace and still couldn't get back in the top line .

lol, again. look at the teams and linemates he played with. regardless of if he was carried by Kuch and Stamkos, they had chemistry together and everyone knows that. we all know that Coop will do it and thats that. not once have i said he should be in the top 6 but thats where he most likely will end up because of Coop. i honestly think hes overpaid even for 1 year when we could have gotten someone much better and for probably just as cheap. once Cirelli comes back he will probably be stapled to the 3rd line and be **** in the playoffs like before. hes a soft forward that adds some speed to the lineup. TJ in the 16-17: 28.8% TOI played with Kuch and Palat, 17-18: 21% TOI was spent with Palat and Point, 18-19 was 50% with Kuch and Point, 19-20 was 17.5% with Cirelli and Palat, 20-21 was 31.6% with Killorn and Cirelli. all of it being 1st or 2nd line... id much rather have TJ's linemates compared to Vladdys. just look at TJ's 29 goal season... Kuch had 128 points, Stamkos had 98, Point had 92. that Tampa team was stacked. and TJ spent 50% of his ice time with 2 40 goal scorers and playing on the PP1 unit with Kuch, Miller, Stamkos, and Point.... compared to Namestnikov's time spent with either Ryan Strome and Jesper Fast, or Brett Howden and Jimmy Vesey and that Rangers team where Zib led the team with 74 points and Kreider was next highest at 52. Vladdy finished 8th on that team in points while being 7th in TOI among forwards for that team. TJ finished 6th on Tampa in points that year while being 4th among forwards in TOI for Tampa
