Why should VGK do that? If we forget for a while that they have a habit of doing stupid moves.
They need forwards that can play for low cap hit. Defense they are good

No, no, no. Of course Severson and a protected first is too much for a UFA. They can't give up their second pairing right D (Who is also a UFA and they have an immediate replacement for) and a rebuilding team can't give up a first (despite them listening to offers on the 2nd pick and if they do poorly they would keep it anyways)
