REALISTIC OPTIONS FOR HABS

Description
Next season, changes are coming in MTL, especially because we have new coach, meaning a new system will be implemented. Also, depth to compete in the division will be necessary, as buffalo, tampa, florida and toronto are only going to get better.
There will also be changes in the farm system, and I believe Scherbak and Juulsen will be ready to play full time in the NHL in the 2018-19.

    That's pretty good man
I'd only say probably need longer term to get Oshie
A mid/high draft pick to ensure VGS takes Plekanec
Maybe use the extra cap space to shore up the D as well
Overall pretty solid and doable offseason IMO

Agree with the Tampa trade. As a Habs fan, I'd trade Beaulieu and the 2nd in an instant for Brayden Point.

Unless tampa believes habs are overpaying for point why does tampa do this trade? They need to shed salary and Beaulieu will cost more than point... the more likely target should be johnson, however I agree point would be a good fit in montreal

Tampa needs a top 4 defensemen. Habs need a center. Either way, Yzerman is gonna have to spend money. They could move some depth d man, but I think Beaulieu is an excellent player to fit into to Tampa's high speed system.
