Chychrun to STL

Description
My intention with these trades is that this would be a three-team deal, I just made it work since I'm not sure how to do that on here. Obviously this hinges on Krug being willing to go to the Sens as he has a full NTC. Just curious on what others think of this hypothetical deal.

With Chabot and Sanderson, what makes you think the Sens would want Krug? Atleast Chychrun is good defensively and can play the right side

Zero chance of Krug waiving for any Canadian team.

Once again Zaitsev has a 10 team no trade list, Can't see him waiving for Arizona nor Arizona having any interest in him to them he's basically a cap dump.

The latest report at the time was that the Yotes wanted (2) 1st's, a high end prospect, and Zaitsev from the Sens. I agree Zaitsev is a cap dump but if the report is right that may mean they need to take salary cap back to meet the cap floor. I made the trades here to get the Yotes what they wanted just from two teams instead of one. Krug may not waive, that's certainly a pretty big if here, but it is closer to his native Detroit so I figured maybe.

Sanderson is unproven in the NHL. If the Sens are looking to actually compete this year like their offseason moves appear to spell out then they may want a more proven veteran like Krug in their top 4. But sure, it is a hole in the reasoning here if the Sens think highly of Sanderson, I'm not an expert on the team which is why I made this so I could gauge the general thoughts on this. Its extremely unlikely to happen anyways.

I can see why they wouldn't but if they're looking to compete more this year like their offseason moves seem to spell out this trade certainly makes them a better team now...that Krug contract won't likely age well, but they're essentially trading a 1st and a cap dump for a top 4 defenseman that's arguably one of the best PP QBs in the league, that in general doesn't sound like a terrible deal.

Sanderson is one of the best prospects in the NHL and is NHL ready. The Sens are not competing strictly this year. Krug is not that great and his contract would be an anchor on the Sens
