So in essence you are talking Ebs on as a $8.5M per year x 2 player? shakes head shakes head
Don't forget Cams NTC, which I do not see him waiving myself (threaten him with Vegas exposure and sure I guess, but he waives before that to get moved elsewhere to win now and family considerations
AND
Probably giving up a higher 2nd in 18+ a 3rd this year! Why?

Separate deals: Ebs (if you really want him) retained at some portion with a exp exempt D man going back. They need the money to pay DraiMcJesus and a body for Sekera.
Move Cams with retention for whatever you can

The trade is essentially Cammy and a third this year. Swapping second rounders won't be a huge deal to me.

Edmonton isn't really in a position to retain, hence why we essentially are sending just a 3rd.

Also, you want to move Cam with retention anyway, why not just do it in a deal like this? It is only two more years of Eberle (where he will have to prove demanding a high contract) and only two of Cammy. By then we still have free money for signing our own guys in future. Plus no more Clowe, no more Lovejoy, and potentially losing Henrique barring a trade.

Forgot to add, pretty sure Cam would waive his NTC to play for a contender like Edmonton.
