I agree with the bottom part, but Vegas didn’t have RHD, so they traded out a LHD to make room for a much needed RHD

Toews is a guy you dump guys for if you have to. I messed up on 1 team n thats Nashville. Everyother team Toews steps in as their first pair lhd.

Sure bud. You evaluate how far a team got you and address the limitations. You trade to improve. By your logic, K.Hughes must be new to hockey. He traded Petry rhd for an overpaid lhd and now Habs have a huge gaper on the right side.
