I don't think the Leafs need to make any FA depth additions, unless if they are signing guys on PTOs or league minimum. The Leafs would benefit from letting some of the AHLers compete for 1 or 2 spots in the NHL, and Gaudette should also be given a proper chance. If Kerfoot is moved for cap compliancy, then there's no point in moving Holl for futures. He's D-man that the Leafs can rely on for PK and they know what they are getting, he's also 1 of 2 RH defenders on the team that can be expected to play this season. I would expect Mete and Benn to just be extra depth in case of injury, and if Sandin doesn't sign.

Seattle would also not be the location for Kerfoot at this point in time.

I just chose his hometown, after more thought I wouldn't move Holl anyway.

Why don't you think Seattle when they liked him at the expansion draft?

Also I agree, I would keep Holl around... he's our most used PKer and can play top 4 minutes on an expiring deal, could have a great year.
