I think Ebs can be had for less.
I think Kovy gets moved for a combo of a struggling young player, a couple of pcs who cant break in because of depth on the big team (think Islanders)
Eventually Zajac goes to Tor when they are ready to compete. Lou loves him and he we be one of those vets who helps them in the POs

The edm deal is probably about there if the devils were to keep half kovy's salary and cap hit. Otherwise it doesn't make sense for Edm.

As a Devils fan I wouldn't do that MTL trade but its probably pretty fair. I just think Zajac is the perfect mentor for all the young centers and when he gets better players around him he'll produce better numbers
