Nice goal from McLaughlin. Stream really sucks but it’s been a decent game so far. Bussi looks vulnerable on the glove side.

Bad pass by #19. Led to a fast break, nice save by Bussi. Wish there was an announcer or better quality than the 1970s so that I could read the jerseys lol

Couple of nice passes by 21 on the powerplay

Alright quality of my stream just improved and I can read jerseys now. 21 is Lysell, which makes me happy. He’s had a good start to the game. Around the puck a lot. Nice forecheck. Good speed. Nice to see

Stupid play by Jakob Lauko leads to a goal. He was waaaaay to deep in the zone and tried to soft chip the puck out into traffic. He’s one of the oldest guys playing, embarrassing

Nice bounce back save by Bussi with the blocker. None of the goals have really been his fault. Raw talent but could be solid. Positioning is good and that very important with a young goalie.

Lysell trying to make fancy passes that these other line mates can’t handle lol. Off the boards to his winger, couldn’t corral it despite being in the right area.

Kai Wissmann looks like ****. Can’t handle a puck to save his life, already turned the puck over two or three times just due to being unable to corral pucks coming his way.

Overall, meh opening frame for the Bs kids. MVP thus far is either McLaughlin or Lysell. McLaughlin obviously had the goal, more obvious pick. But Lysell has been the best player in the ice thus far, all over the play in all three zones.

Anyone else have the Sabres logo on their screen between periods? Who is responsible for putting this mess of a game together? No announcer, bad graphics on the screen. Wrong team?

Couple of bad plays by #42. Led to a turnover, got it back and had an odd man rush. Then he overhandled and lost possession.

Nice play by 42, stealing the puck with a nice stick, wraparound shot was stopped but good display of effort and ability

John Beecher with nice board play win.

Luke Toporowski with a strong backcheck forces Ottawa offsides with aggressive play.

Good overall shift by McLaughlin. Always in the right place, playing at a good speed. Couple of nice passes and a nice chip out of the zone defensively

Good communication turned bird play by Poitras and Callahan. Forced a turnover

Lysell directing coverages for other forwards, nice to see

Ryan Mast missed an open pass that led to a turnover. Rebounded nicely moments later with a good defensive play

Nice rebound goal for Toporowski. Started the play with a great takeaway, finished it off off of the McLaughlin shot

Not too sure why Shane Pinto has decided to play the goon in an exhibition match. Lots of hits behind/after the play. Not normally his game
