Oh yes they take that and run, not only can they flip all three for a lot more, This helps them out a little
No idea why SJ would do this though

Just because they are rebuilding doesn't mean they wont take a steal

Tank hard for Bedard or Michkov. If that does not happen though, they will still get a Top 5 pick, plus having more cap space to sign Meier back. I dont think we will get back the 2019 Labanc back so moving him, Lindbolm, and Nieto to AZ I could see happen. AZ barely has an NHL team and them getting those players at least helps them with their rebuild as well as SJ.

how is this a steal? Lindblom was just bought out and became a ufa so anyone could have signed him.
Labanc probably has negative value at this point and Nieto could maybe be traded for a 4th or something at the deadline.

Lindblom, a 30 point winger, is not worth a high 2nd and 3rd in a great draft

Labanc is a top 6 winger, he was hurt last year
Lindholm can maybe get a 3rd
They literally get neito for free here

lol so you're saying Labanc is worth a 2nd?! He might cost a 2nd to move! He was especially bad last season, but hasn't played like a top 6 winger for the past 3 seasons and he's making close to 5 million for 2 more seasons.
Lindblom maybe has the value of a 3rd but we wouldn't sign him and then trade him like that. Not a good look.

the look might not be great, but if Gregor & Gushin keep playing like they have this preseason I don’t see how they are not top 9 players next year for the sharks. add in Bordeleau and Eklund who are pretty much locks to be NHL regulars by the start of next season and combine them with Robins Weisblatt and Coe who are about a year or two from being top 9 NHL regulars and Reedy Weatherby and Raska who will be NHL ready bottom 6 forwards and the sharks have an over abundance of forwards. Bonino and Nieto both have their contracts up at the end of the season but that really only leaves 3 forward spots and 2 healthy scratch spots for 10 players. 12 if you include Gadjovich and whoever the sharks top pick from 23 draft will be.
moving players like Lindblom Kunin Labanc and possibly Barabanov could get us a hefty return and set us up for a solid rebuild that the sharks are obviously in but pretending they are not.

I agree but I just don't think that we should trade Lindblom and Kunin now after just signing them. I'd be fine with it at the TDL. Excited to see Sharks prospects make the big league soon, though. That 2020 draft class is something special.

no I agree, don't trade anyone right now, Unless someone offers you an over-payment for some reason. let them play and hopefully they look good and raise their value and deal them at the TDL or at the draft.
