A 20 man roster isn't legit, Doubt the league would even allow it. You need a 21 or 22 man roster just to cover for the inevitable injuries the Leafs will sustain.

Yeah i'm sure i've been watching hockey long before you were ever alive, I don't remember a single year that the league has ever allowed a 20 man roster. What teams do after the season start is one thing. Teams are still suppose to have a 21 or 22 man roster. So what are you going to do on the injury front? Nevermind if you lose 5 or 6 players to Covid and have to use emergency callup because you can't field a normal team.

Sure and it's a recipe for disaster when injuries start to pile up and you can't even field a legit roster, Without having to use an emergency callups. You can it's just not wise Covid is still out there and if you have 5-6 players out you just put yourself in a major mess. Teams that us a 20 man roster always have issues later.

Vegas had 16 man rosters last year mid season, the league isn’t stepping in the way of teams mis managing the cap
