I see what you mean but Debrincat really isn't doing well this season and is on an expiring contract. Maybe Arizona would have to give more but I think adding a first round pick is too much. Maybe replace the 2nd with the first and throw in a 3rd or 4th from Ottawa

To Be Honest... I Wouldn't Trade For Chychrun... I Still Have High Hopes For Brannstrom... His Offensive Skill Potential Is Pretty High... What I Believe Ottawa Really Needs Is The LA Kings Prospect... Helge Grans... Grans And Brannstrom Would Probably Be A Great Pairing Together... Then Find Someone Like Parayko To Pair Up With Chabot And Then Their Defence Would Be Fixed For The Rest Of Tkachuk And Stutzle's Careers... Wouldn't That Be Great?

I wanted Grans in his draft but they went with Jarventie instead. I don't think Chychrun is great for the sens considering his injury history. Unfortunately it's part of the conversation for him. It's tough, there's not much in the trade market currently. I wouldn't mind Murphy from Chicago but a Parayko just isn't available sadly. Severson/dumba signing in the offseason could be best option. Or use Debrincat as a trade piece if he won't resign but not for Chychrun haha

So this is the first time I hear about this Grans guys. But 6'4" 205lbs, right handed with decent numbers in the AHL? sounds pretty good to me. However, I've completely lost hope in Brännström, he can't win one one one battles with anyone bigger than him, and an 5'10" there aren't many guys smaller than him. He reminds me of Mete back when we had him where he was small, decent skater but a liability on defence. I would trade him as soon as soon as possible while he still has value. I just think having Chabot and Chychrun as a one two punch would be deadly. Kinda like Tampa had Hedman and Mcdonagh. I thin Zub and Chabot play super well together, they remind me of the Weber, Chiarot pair when Montreal went to the finals. but someone like Parayko or even Dobson from the Isles would be a great add. Might take a spot away from guys like Lassi Thompson or Bernard-Docker.
