I wonder if the Abs could pry Faulk out of St Louis

I would rather try for Barbeshev, I know we need D but we also need to shore up the Wing if we are moving guys like Hoffman, Drouin and Dadonov. Wish we could get both for Eddy + Drouin + something else minor but I don't see any way we can without including at least the Panther's 1st

Going into this year, we just had too many players looking to prove something to be a bottom 5 team. What is that old adage? Will beats, skill everytime! I count at least 8-10 players who are looking to bounce back after a poor couple of season or step up to become NHL regulars. There was a team back in the '85-86 season that was expected to be a bottom 5-10 team and ended up making the playoffs as the 3rd lase seeding in the east. That team went on to win the cup because they had a lot to prove as well. I am in no way saying that is what will happen again, all I am saying is this that expectations mean nothing on the ice.

I wouldn't. He was awful his last 2 outings. The win streak is delicate right now. He'll get his chance after the next loss.
