Both Edmundson and Anderson are so overrated it's not funny.

Sergei Bobrovsky doesn't waive from South Florida to the likes of Montreal. He goes from no tax Florida to a high tax base in Montreal.

Florida isn't retaining $5,000,000 x 4 years on Bobrovsky plus dealing Montour and giving up 2 2nd round picks and 2 3rd round picks for a bunch of scrap players.

I never said Chiarot was overrated, he definitely wasn't worth a 1st round pick. And it sure didn't work out for Florida as they were swept in 4 games in the 2nd rd.

Anderson is majorly overpaid. Dudes barely a 30 point guy making 5 x $5,500,000 he had one 40 point season and Jarmo thought he was worth a fortune.

They tried and it didn't work out for them. Many teams try the same thing every year and fail.

Chiarot was traded for an unprotected 1st and a prospect because of a bidding war between teams.
