To increase the Drouin's value, when healthy, I'll try him on the 2nd-3rd line, copy-paste on the 1st line with less talent: Monahan (Suzuki) high IQ, Drouin (Dach) pass ability and Slaf (Caufield) the shooter
At the TDL23, I'll try to resign Monahan ont a 3-4 years contract, Trade Drouin, Dadonov, Wideman and Edmundson

I think Drouin will retire from hockey after this year. He doesn't seem to enjoy it anymore. I don't think a team would trade for him for a playoffs run.

I wouldn't extend Monahan unless it's for really cheap. He's been great to us so far, but MTL should go for another 2C like Dubois.

I could see a 2nd line with Dubois, Slafkovsky and Anderson being a physical scoring line like the Kadri and Landeskog line last year for the Avs.
