Description
So I've been seeing Muzzin deals pop up on Bruins teams recently, and I feel he would be a solid top-4 LHD when Z is gone.

With the draft, I think the Bruins should take Cal Foote if he is still available (which he's projected to be within 2 picks on most mocks). He's a big two-way defenseman who scouts say has a good hockey IQ. With Chiller going to LA here, Foote would be a solid prospect to add to our RHD depth. He would start in Prov, I just left him on chart for visibility.

Bjork is listed as being able to play both wings despite being left handed, so I have him on Bergy's right, giving him a speedier option than Backes. This gives Bjork a chance to learn from arguably the smartest forward in the NHL, and one of the best scorers.

Krecji keeps Pasta on his right, and takes DeBrusk on his left, who has proved he has found his scoring touch in the playoffs. Him and Pasta together allow Krecji to be that playmaker he truly is.

The 3rd line is young, but Backes is there to anchor the two rookies and mentor them through the NHL game.

For the 4th line I went with Accari, Czarnik and Nash. I really liked what Accari brought to that line, and the chemistry he had with Nash will hopefully spill over into this season.

Let me know what you all think.

2018 is said to be a good draft that will be pretty deep and you're leaving the Bruins with not a lot of picks to work with

Yeah the Bruin would be foolish to give up all those 2018 picks, In what is probably going to be one of the better drafts in recent memory.

I like this scenario; only a few small, very arguable changes imo. I would bury Hayes in Providence, have Kuraly and Cehlárik to open with Boston, and swap Krug with Muzzin (i don't think Krug and McAvoy are good enough in their zone to be a permanent pair). I like the balance of youth and veterans on all 4 lines, and Foote would be a pretty ideal draft choice.

I had Hayes up just as an NHL body. I would probably trade him for a late round pick this year or next, or as you said just bury him in Prov for the year. I debated putting Chara and McAvoy together, but I feel McAvoy will play 1st pairing minutes, and am unsure how 40 yo Chara will handle that. I was going to put Krug with Carlo as their games are very different that they would be productive. Carlo would stay put and cover for Krug while he runs up.
