I'm just not sure that we need a player like Boeser in the third line, especially with such a contract. He probably won't get enough time on the ice to fulfill himself. Plus Adams probably won't block Savoie and Kulich, who will be in Buffalo for the next 1-2 years.

If the kid line hadn't come together I would probably try this trade. I don't like the Contracts, especially Demko cause he's owed more than his actual cap hit. Don't think the Pegula's will want to pick his bonus up either. I think we have a couple prospects that will be better than Boeser, so I don't see the need for a 6.6m Winger on the 3rd line.

I dont think this move blocks Savoie and Kulich. Players like Girgensons Jost Krebs Asplund are most likely the placeholders until their ready.

He's under contract for only 2 more years after this. He can be moved again in a pinch

I don't think the team will give up the checker line, so it's unlikely that Savoie, Kulich and other young players will replace Girgensons or a guy like Asplund. They will replace players like Mittelstdat and Olofsson who are basically useless.

Kulich/savoie/boeser can be the 3rd line

Maybe, although Kulich seems to be playing RW and we also have Rosen. But many people think that Savoie will not be the center of the NHL, and I'm not sure yet.

I always liked Boeser before, I just don't know if he can get back in game here, although he clearly needs a change of scenery, given his life situation. Maybe it could work.
