Bottom 6 change up and new D pairs

Created by: brgh4life
Team: 2022-23 Pittsburgh Penguins
Initial Creation Date: Dec. 29, 2022
Published: Dec. 29, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
The 4th line and the 3rd pair were stand outs last night. Despite this Sully didn't give them nearly enough TOI. DOC scored and was playing strong in the 1st period. His reward was 5:10 of total ice time.
Rutta and Dumoulin continue to get caved in and the 3rd line is still a disaster. Sullivan better take his head out of his @$$ before this team falls out of a tight playoff race.

What hurts us Rn is that Sam Poulin is still on his leave of absence. He would be perfect to center that 3rd line and try to spark things up, Then that way Teddy can still play 4th line and Carter can be sent to the press box

I don't think Poulin was even close to being ready. There was talk about him in camp, but I still had DOC and Hallander above him in terms of NHL ready prospects.

He honestly didn't look bad when he played 3rd line minutes when he came up earlier this season. if it wasn't for his absence, I truly believe we would of seen him play yesterday
