If Larkin waives which isn't a gimme, it's for a true legit cup contender which Minnesota's not.

In reality I agree, which is why I'm largely against the idea of them being buyers. But this isn't the classic overpay for Bo Horvat, this is a complete what if scenario (in need of some fixes) based around the idea of buying at the deadline to actually make the Wild legit which I think would entice Larkin to waive his NTC.

The only not legit part of this fantasy team is the goaltending, which is still good enough to steal some games if need be

Top line has been great with Steel, that wmd line is fantastic, the GREEF line is arguably the best shutdown line in hickey and can do more than that. The 4th line is solid too

The team defence is easily top 10, replacing Dumba with Schenn only improves that

This team wouldn't be the beginning of the season Minnesota Wild at all

Call me crazy, but I don’t think I would give that much for Larkin.

I am concerned about how much ice time this would force Addison get. Schenn would have to take over all of Dumbas minutes so the Wild can continue to protect Addison.

Fair points, however I'm quite confident in Addison's ability and you always have to pay that extra trade deadline tax
