Description

Management doesn’t seem like they’re in a rush to make any decision on Horvat, Kuzmenko, Schenn, etc.

Which is fine if your consider how cap-crunched teams are right now, especially teams pushing for the playoffs. Horvat would be one of the trickiest trades in franchise and potentially league history considering he’s a pending UFA scoring at an unreal pace.

I still do believe that his value lies somewhere between Eichel and Copp, potentially even Ryan McDonagh. This is a simulation of what could go down at the deadline if the Canucks have no shot at the playoffs, but other than that I see Rutherford and Alvin continuing to be cautious, especially with how much of the season remains.

No reason for the Devils to add to their forward logjam right now. The only forwards they should be trading for are elite top 6 guys or snipers.

I can see KK and a first. Roy’s contract is a good one for what he provides locked up for the next 5 years.
