don't love Casey's size but I think the value is decent. What about Mukhamadullin? What's his play style and projection?

Muchs play style is somewhat shut down/defensive defenseman but he has a helluva shot that he can rip from anywhere. I believe he was projected as a top 4, its a little hard to tell because he's loaned out for the 22/23 season so we dont get to see much of his potential in Utica. Losing either Casey or Much would hurt our prospect pool for defenseman but not as much as losing say L. Hughes or Nemec would....does that help?

As far as the trade goes im actually all for it, we dont lose Holtz and we acquire a potential 40 goal scorer. Win for both sides

Dislike this trade. 1st demote Gritsyuk, 2nd replace Casey with one of these guys: Holtz, Zetterberg.

I'd be happy to swap out Casey for Zetterlund. I'd prefer to hold onto Holtz if possible.

That's what I was going for. I was trying to make a deal that doesn't involve Holtz or Mercer, but that still gives some quality to San Jose.

Mukhamadullin ceiling seems to be a 2nd pair good puck moving defensive d-man. He's been improving in the KHL from what I've seen.

I'd be happy to include him in the trade instead of Casey.

Hell no Zetterlund works his ass off, it might not translate to continued success right now but trust me that kid will never quit. He's earned his spot this year. Right now he's good with where he is, with his work ethic i think he can work his way back next to the Captain. Zetterlund stays
