The only question I have with Chychrun is do we even want that type of defensemen when we have Reilly? I will be honest and say I don’t know much about Chychrun’s game from watching him but just get the feeling he has the same skill set and deficiencies.

I'd compare him to Brodie, just with a higher offensive side, plays a pretty good 2 way game, as long as he's got a defensive defenceman on his side, he'd make a good addition to almost any team

What is the fascination with Chychrun? He's a LHD where the Leafs are good with Reilly, Sandin and Giordano. Leafs are fine on the right side with Brodie, Holl and Liljegren and Timmins.
Really the Leafs are marginally better this Chychrun, and then if Engvall is traded, Leafs are worse at LW
Next season the Leafs can't really afford Chychrun or have the need for him,
Sorry this poor roster construction and cap management for this year and next, and giving away a first and Knies ...absurd.

Very good at carrying the puck in transition and joining the rush to create offense. Also very good at defending in his own zone, especially around the boards.
