Didn't read through all of this, but some thoughts from a Devils fan:

You've left Damon Severson unprotected. Not happening. You've also left Travis Zajac exposed. Possible, but unlikely.

And there's no way NJ uses a second round pick to get Vegas to take Cammalleri. They have tons of cap space, and he only has two years left. They don't need to waste an asset in order to get Vegas to take him. They can just ride it out with him without any issues.

Sens aren't protecting dzingel. I know you think he's a superstar just because you saw him once when he tied it against Pittsburgh but he's actually awful

Correct, I made a mistake. I placed Santini in the trade accidentally instead of Severson, which I meant to put there. That's why I didn't protect him. I've now edited as it should be. I think however that Zajac will be left exposed, and that is why I thought Devils must pay something to Vegas for not taking his contract - despite that they probably wouldn't have taken him.

Sens aren't protecting dzingel. I know you think he's a superstar just because you saw him once when he tied it against Pittsburgh but he's actually awful

Who do you think would get protected then? Ryan and MacArthur has too big contracts, so protecting them were not necessary, they were not going to be taken. I think only Burrows would have been an option.

Maybe you're correct. I'll edit the team a little.
