That Colorado deal is horrendous. If that's the cost of a winger, I'm all set. Carlo is, at worst, a top 4 defenseman on a cheap ELC with plenty of potential. No way do I move him, alone, for Landeskog. Lauzon has top 4 upside as well. The 1st is overkill.

The rest isn't terrible but the COL deal kills it.

BreKel pretty much hit the nail on the head. The Colorado deal isn't good value for Boston.

I agree, it may be a bit much, but that is for the Avs to take on the Hayes contract as well.

You may want to do a little more research. Hayes is signed at 2.3M for 1 more season and is a UFA. There is no reason for Boston to overpay so much to get a "bad" contract off the books. He's only here 1 more year, and 2.3M isn't really a big hit. If the Bruins have to add to Hayes to get him off the roster, then they're better off just burying him in Providence. No trades with additions to him, no salary retaining, no buyouts. All terrible ideas that I've seen thrown out on Hayes.

Don't line Connauton either. Kuraly and a 2nd is already too much for something we don't need.....we are long on defense prospects.....especially given that Carlo and Lauzon aren't going anywhere. You should probably stick to making a team for your Habs!

I think he was adding to Beleskey to get him off the books. I think it's either Vegas or back to Anaheim for Beleskey if moved. I think a 2nd with him is enough. He only makes 3.8M and if he returns to form, the team acquiring him makes out well.

Ya I realize that, I don't like giving up picks to get him off the books, he can be a solid 4th liner for 2 years and insurance to move up if injuries hit. Its not a great contract but its not a killer either....
