I think if there were any real chance of them acquiring chychrun it would have happened by now.

You're paying a lot to get him then risking he can hold his own on his off hand (cause power isnt playing 3rd pair and lyubushkin isnt going anywhere).

Also 11 mil for killorn and domi is hilarious. That guys sucks

Chychrun is replacing Bryson and playing with Lyubushkin, stop being a robot where there has to be a 1st pair that gets 25+ min and a 3rd pair that gets 12-13 min - also Dahlin is a left shot D-man who is having Norris type year on the right side - think a little more creatively

Dahlin played almost entirely on the Right side in Sweden. Sabres actually switched him when he got here. Not every Dman is comfortable playing there offside for whole games. Don't really think Chychrun for the cost fits.

Name one playoff team where this isn't the case? There arent enough special teams minutes to give out. Chychrun won't get PP minutes ahead of dahlin and power, and he's not particularly effective SH. He's also not nearly a good enough skater to take minutes from Power/Dahlin at 3 on 3.

Stop being a NPC and responding like one.

Chychrun could play on our second pp unit instead of either Quinn or Peterka - there is no law that says only one D-man on pp

Not a law, but a mountain of data that shows taking a scoring fwd off the PP to run two d-men is kinda nuts.

Lots of contending teams these days flat out run 5 fwds. Only reason we dont is cause Dahlin and Power are freaks.

Depends on both the forwards and D-men you have on your team and Chychrun has a bomb for a shot at distance better than Quinn or Peterka at this point in their careers - now if we were talking Kulich then that would be different conversation that guy can snap it.
