Would this work for either team

Created by: PaddysPub
Team: 2022-23 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 26, 2023
Published: Jan. 26, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I am bad with knowing trade values. So bare with me. Canucks are looking for a "retool" apparently. And need dmen. Nashville Has quite a few players with term left on their deals. Duchene 4 years, Johansen 3 years, Granlund 3 years. Niederrieter 2 years. So this player fits the timeline nicely for them. And they are looking for a sniper. KEEP IN MIND. Both teams would have to make OTHER trades to be salary cap compliant. But would either team be interested? Please let me know. I would love to hear feedback. :)
Trades
VAN
  1. Fabbro, Dante
  2. Prokop, Luke
  3. 2023 2nd round pick (NSH)
Additional Details:
Again. I'm bad with knowing values. But I feel this could help both teams. Canucks get a cost controlled RFA Dman that is 24 years old, former 1st round pick and has been decent but not amazing with the preds. They get an okay prospect and decent 2nd (should I upgrade to 1st?) If Schenn moves, Fabbro slides nicely onto that right side.
NSH
  1. Boeser, Brock
Additional Details:
Preds get their sniper. Duchene and Boeser as 1-2 punches on the RW helps their forwards big time. They are also rumoured to be shopping Fabbro.

Boeser is worth a 2nd to an interested team. NSH is not an interested team, and this is a severe overpay if we were.

I could see Fabbro straight up for Boeser because a BB6 trade rn is not going to give you a lot in return. His value is not there rn. Good time to trade for him but bad time to trade him. Vancouver would probably consider like I said the 1 for 1 just because they are wanting to move on from him. Last year Boeser would have been worth this for sure though so you were not super far off.

Boeser for Fabbro makes some sense, but Nashville would be screwing their cap situation if they made this deal. Don't see it happening unless VAN retains, which they shouldn't.

Fair. I heard they were on the lookout for a sniper, and Boeser fits their timeline. But he's been pretty bad this season so I can see how NSH may have lost interest.

Thanks! I am terrible at knowing values. But wondered if there may be something here if the cap worked for both teams.

Yeah they wouldn't be able to do this unless they moved some contracts out. It would be tight for sure.
