Description
Coming from a division rival I actually think the Rangers have the internal pieces to be a cup contender, Gallant just refuses to put anyone in a position to succeed. I did this here restructuring their 1st and 3rd lines and adding one of the best shooters in hockey to a line with an amazing playmaker. I also brought in Bjugstad because I believe that price to be worth the upgrade over Leschyshyn.

Sharks decline. Not even in the ballpark. The best piece in the trade has to come close to having the same ceiling as Timo. Not even a combination of all the players will come close. And no prospects? Come on man.

as a fan of the sharks, I do not believe the best course of action for the franchise is trading Meier. But if this event were to take place,, in the sharks best interest for the future. This is what I believe the trade should look like

Meier
Bonino


Lindgren
Vesey
2023 1st
2024 3rd & 4th

All this granted that Meier signs an extension as the trade goes through.

Sharks biggest weakness outside of goaltending is young established D-men. If I am Mike Grier this is what im asking for Meier

This is his first year getting more than 14 minutes per game. I really wish we could’ve seen him develop more then get a first line role. Kinda sucks the Rangers were entering contention. Wrong place wrong time

I don’t know if you just only follow the Sharks and/or don’t follow the Rangers, but neither Lindgren or Vesey would be traded. This isn’t about complying with the Sharks needs when their hand is forced on trading their best player. You can take a first and a young player, or he will leave in July.

This reply is a joke right? We have never seen Laf given PP1 and 1st line time. He is better than the NJ and CAR offers of a prospect and a pick, and this is coming from a Canes fan. I gave the Sharks more than they’re gonna get from any team and you wanna complain. Fine. Don’t take this and watch him walk and you continue your miserable life.

Why would we give up a Cost controlled former first overall along with other assets for a guy we LITERALLY CANT AFFORD.
