Not a bad move it's really probably the most realistic Boeser trade thats gonna happen.

Run the cap numbers for Minnesota. It’s not workable for them to add a $6M cap hit.

It’s not that it doesn’t fit this season, it doesn’t fit next year or the year after that. We currently have $9.3M in cap space to fill out 9 roster spots for next year. Adding Boeser to that mix isn’t feasible without major retention, which we are not going to pay for with top picks or prospects either.

If we didn’t have $14.7M in dead cap I’m sure Minnesota would be all over this trade though.
