People want that Crouse contract?

So many Leaf fans have no regard for the cap in the future years and love paying dearly upcoming UFAsa and also future cap players which makes future signing of the Leafs RFAs or others impossible. Never minding giving up good futures. Really poor roster construction and makes long term success or even semi success impractical.

The cap is going to go up so its not the end of the world. You need to give to get and the leafs still have good prospects besides knies. You have to go for it JT isnt getting any younger

Thanks for confirming what I wrote. Yes the cap is going up next season but only a 1m or 2m. Leafs have few NHL prospects and shouldn't trading cost efficient NHLer Sandin, Knies or a years worth of picks.
The additions certainly don't move the needle. So what when Tavares leaves/retires. That's 11m spend on other player(s)
