Im not exactly sure if LA would be interested in spooner. Purely based off of how LA likes to play team defense, spooner does not fit their system. He would be an upgrade offensively from their current 3rd line center Nick Shore but it would be a downgrade defensively. Although LA does have the cap space and putting spooner next to a guy like Trevor Lewis could help his game out. If LA was able to find a way to get rid of Brown or Gaborik in a trade, they could give spooner a shot with Kopitar and keep Pearson-Carter-Toffoli together. Could be spooners "big break". Everything else looks fine in this trade, sending colin miller back to where he was originally drafted seems best and a good prospect will come from the 18th pick. People are seriously overlooking this draft

Subtle upgrade. I think it helps the Bs. Don't know LAK enough to say whether this is what they need.

this is how i look at it, Spooner will give them 40-50 pts if hes on the 3rd line or their top 6. L.A maybe could use a fast, offensive minded player in spooner. They also get a 3rd pairing (great skating) Colin Miller to "replace" muzzin. they also get a first round pick this year at pick 18. this would mean theyd have picks 11 and 18. it would give them a little boost to their prospect system as they'd select a forward prospect and a defensive prospect. Boston benefits this as well because even though there will be great players at pick 18, their recent draft history might recommend that we don't need that pick as much as a team like L.A might. The bruins also get a legitimate top pairing left handed dman that can help grow McAvoy into a "Doughty type player". The acquisation of Muzzin also means that the Bruins would give less minutes to Zdeno Chara. I think this trade would benefit both teams in the long term. *Colin Miller is also still improving, as well as Spooner.*

I thought Muzzin was a lock to play with Doughty and that pair was basically untouchable? Why would they want Collin Miller back as well? Ryan Spooner is the opposite of what they look for, they want big tough gritty players to wear down opponents in the playoffs. If you could pull this off then I like it, but I think L.A. is getting screwed. I just don't see why L.A. would trade their top pair Dman for a late teen 1st, a Dman they got rid of, a guy who doesn't fit their system and a mid round pick, it doesn't add up very well to me. Seems like they are going for a cup still, but this move makes it seem like they are rebuilding. I think this would seem more logical to me if the first domino fell before you made this mock; meaning any type of move or trade in real life that suggested the Kings are regrouping and retooling their roster to make another run. If that happens then I think this would be a fair deal if they are looking to split bigger assets into multiple smaller assets. I'm not going to rain on your parade and have seen that other people like this, so I will give you a 4 to keep the momentum going.
