We will retain on the player that will give us the best return.

Because after Tyler Motte and Matt Murray, we can only retain on 1 more player for this season.

We would retain on somebody like Nick Holden, Cam Talbot, Austin Watson or Dylan Gambrell.

Van says no to that instantly, Joshua has been very good this year and is at league minimum. Kravtsov has potential but his attitude off the ice and public trade request really gives the rangers no leverage here meaning they’d be lucky to get a 5th for him
