2		-	Adam Fantilli	Will be set at C position for 10 years with Fantilli, McTavish & Gaucher
3		-	Leo Carlsson	Don't have the luxury to wait many years, won't risk Michkov
4		-	Matvei Michkov	Can wait a few years, will get the second highest ceiling in the draft
5		-	Will Smith	Perfect addition as a 2nd C behind Cooley
6		-	David Reinbacher	Don't have a lot of high end D prospect, can hardly pass on Reinbacher
7		-	Zach Benson	Hometown kid filling a need of high floor prospects

14			Brayden Yager	Habs needs a top 2 D. At this point in the draft, no point in looking for this guy. They go with a foward with high compete.
15			Ryan Leonard	This doesn't really reflect VAN's draftinghabits, but their last few draft have not been very successful. Leonard is a safe bet, something they desperately need right now.
16		-	Matthew Wood	Smaller prospect have been treated poorly with years and years in the AHL. Looking for size
17		-	Daniil But	Surprising pick, but always make sound choices.
18		-	Mikhail Gulyayev	Any player at this point will become their best prospect.
19		-	Lukas Dragicevic	Loads of big defenders, need a puck mover
20		-	Nate Danielson	As a safe bet as it can gets, would fit well in pits
21		-	Dmitri Simashev	I doubt EDM will draft in the first round this year with all the trade rumors. Simashev would be the best player available at this point
22		-	Quentin Musty	Overall skilled, can hit and fight, fills a hole in their recent pipeline
23		-	Gavin Brindley	Great impression at the WJC and high compete level.
24		-	Samuel Honzek	6'4 that can skate and defend, no way VGK pass on him
25		-	Riley Heidt	Great season so far, good acquisition for the WPJ
26			Gabe Perreault	Intelligent winger, fits the mold of STL
27			Calum Ritchie	Not a huge season, but best player available at this rank
28		-	Oliver Bonk	Trending for Bonk continues
