Extra year of retention, pay up, or don't and cry about it. Rico's on a career year (vs ROR's **** year) and we have no need to move him this season, so make us an offer we can't refuse.

But yeah, go ahead and bring up the waiver incident that is the reason Bob Murray got outed as a toxic, abusive alcoholic GM and was fired. Rico still finished 4th on the team in points and 2nd on the team in goals IN SPITE of missing time playing in San Diego that season.
