I think unless you get Meier, there isn't anyone available worth getting.

So the Leafs are going all in on a year where they have the hardest competition they'll ever have. Makes sense to me.

There could be other teams getting really good in the coming years, maybe next year instead of tb and Boston, it might be florida and buffalo.

I'm not sure if that's possible with our current prospect pool, I would love getting meier or chychrun but I just can't see either arizona or sj saying OK for what we have to offer.

They need to be the toughest competition. Matthews, Marner, Nylander and JT need to be the best in every series and if they raise their level of play why can't they beat anyone else? They have never been the favorite in a series besides Montreal and they lost JT in the first 5 minutes of that series. No excuses just win
