We'll take any prospect under 24 years of age. If we're getting a 2024 pick, we shouldn't have to take a veteran minimum-contract player off your hands, too.

You dont HAVE to, but the Rangers would need to get his contract off the books to make it work whether its in this deal or in a separate one.
