Description
Expansion Draft:

Vegas is offered a 3rd round pick in the 2017 draft for taking Matt Moulson.

Trades:

VAN - BUF: Sabres trade Evander Kane, Bailey and (swap 1st round picks in 2017) for Subban, 2017 2nd round pick (CBJ).

BUF - CHI Sabres look too help Chicago with their cap problems by acquiring Seabrook, and Chicago's 2017 2nd round pick. Sabres send prospect Nelson, and Right's for Foligno and a 4th round pick in 2017. Helps both teams meet their needs. Sure Seabrook is old, but I think he still has some good years in him.

BUF - CGY Buffalo then looks to help the Flames goaltending problems with sending the Right's for Lehner in exchange for former first round pick Shinkaruk and a 4th round pick in 2017.

WSH - BUF Buffalo acquires the right's for Brett Connolly for a 2nd round pick in 2017 (CHI)

Free Agency:

Buffalo signs Connolly, Kunitz, Eaves and Bernier.

Bernier helps solve a goaltending hole which can give Ullmark time to become a starter (if Bernier is good tradebait in offseason) and if Cal Petersen does indeed sign with the Sabres then 2 years down the road Ullmark and Peterson are the 1 and 2 goalies (not in that order.

Ullmark is a proven AHL starter but not a proven NHL starter yet so thats a huge gamble for them, don't know why people don't see Lehner as our goalie. Was really good last year on a bad team. Wait till Buffalo actually has NHL level defensemen.

Honestly I love Lehner I think he played great with such a bad team in front of him but its up the GM and honestly I can see us moving to a smaller quicker goalie.

Jordan Subban? Hunter Shinkaruk? Why are we trading for unimpressive AHL players?
